Hopkins County – Hopkins County authorities were continuing their search Wednesday afternoon for a woman who fled the scene following a high speed chase early this morning.
The chase ended near the Dike/Flora communities when the suspect driver lost control of the vehicle and overturned. He was arrested for burglary of a habitation and evading arrest with a vehicle. His name had not been released at last report.
The individual who fled is being described as a white female with blonde hair, who was wearing light colored pants and a yellow t-shirt.
Several deputies and a DPS helicopter were reported to have been involved in the search.
