Quinlan – A search warrant at a suspected drug house in South Hunt County leads to the arrest of five people, three of whom stopped by during the raid to purchase drugs.
Officers had been suspicious of a high volume dealer on Dove Drive south of Quinlan since last year.
The homeowner had previously denied any involvement when approached by deputies. But on Saturday, law enforcement returned with a search and arrest warrant and found more than 9 grams of believed methamphetamine.
Two suspected drug dealers were taken into custody. While on the scene, three additional individuals came to the scene purportedly to purchase drugs. Upon arrival they met Undercover Officers instead and the "shoppers" themselves were arrested on unrelated charges.
No names have yet been released pending arraignment.
