Relay team of twin brothers John-David James and Jeremiah James of Cooper, and Ty and Trent Connally of Sulphur Springs brought home Gold medals in the 200-meter free style in their age group in National competition of the 2015 State Games of America in Lincoln, Nebraska.

They placed second in the 13 and old division, which included some 17- year olds in a National contest with 18,000 other swimmers.
Jeremiah also won Gold in the 50-meter breast stroke while Ty and Trent received first and second in the 50-meter freestyle. John David got fifth in the 50-meter freestyle.

This Delta County dueling diving duo has spent the last five years competing for the TigerSharks team in Commerce. They are the sons of Steve and Wendy James of Cooper.

“They did exceptional,” said their mother Wendy James, on the TigerSharks of Commerce participants’ successes. They would like to thank their sponsors who helped in travel expenses.
