Sulphur Springs – A student in the Early Childhood Learning Center at Sulphur Springs ISD has been infected with swine flu.
The child will be kept from school until a full recovery is made. He/she did not require hospitalization.
This is only the second case of H1N1 in Hopkins County since health officials began tracking the disease. Last month, the first two confirmed cases were reported in Hunt County.
