KETR visited another small, local community for its Game of the Week to call the Muenster Hornets at the Cumby Trojans. A classic rural Texas football game, both teams showed strong defense in the redzone and the halftime score was 7-0 Muenster.
This segment begins early in the second half with Cumby making some adjustments and moving to a hurry-up offense to try to keep the Hornets on their heels. The Trojans had some early success moving the ball, but a fumble near the Hornet redzone killed their opening drive. Dalton Bartel, who led all rushers with 150 yards on 22 carries, then put the Hornets on his back and marched them down the field for a score, taking a 14-0 lead. The Cumby Trojans began their next drive with excitement and great play, only to see their second possession end with yet another fumble.
Muenster would go on to hold the Trojans scoreless and take a 27-0 victory.
