The time is approaching to save on sales taxes in Texas. For three days, August 15 - 17, shoppers can take a break from local sales taxes during the annual sales tax holiday. The event has been moved from the first week of August to the third week of the month due to the later start of the fall semester in several school districts. Layway plans are again being offered to take advantage of the holiday.
