Teen faces 40 years in prison

Lake Worth – A teenager from Lake Worth faces up to 40 years in prison after being convicted of shooting his grandmother. The 17 year old was tried as a juvenile. He was convicted of shooting his grandmother in the back of the head after forcing her to write a suicide note. Prosecutors said the teen was angry because he thought his grandmother disposed of one of his marijuana plants.
