Teen victim in stable condition after shooting


Greenville – A shooting in Greenville that may have been a family violence incident leaves one person hospitalized and a second in custody.

Authorities Sunday evening, with the help of a witness, responded to the 3500 block of Washington Street to find a believed gunshot victim, 18 years of age. He was transported to Medical Center of Plano and last known to be in stable condition.

A 38-year-old man, whose name was not released pending arraignment, faces a potential charge of aggravated assault causing bodily injury family violence.
