Hopkins County – Hopkins County authorities say a Winnsboro youth was killed this morning following an accident along Highway 11.
Officers were dispatched to the scene near the CR 2401 intersection just after midnight, and found who was later identified as 16-year-old Autumn Dale Romine. She was pronounced dead at the scene.
Investigators believe Romine was driving the vehicle when it left the road, hit a tree and burst into flames. No word on if anyone else was inside the car at the time.
