Another Hunt County phone call scheme is being reported to the Hunt County Sheriff’s Office. Sheriff Randy Meeks said that his office has received at least one report of an attempted scam of an elderly woman. The victim was told she was the winner of $16 million, and that the caller would need $450 for the processing fees. The area code of the phone number, 876, was from Jamaica.
