Terrell – Terrell City Council members will be reviewing charges of driving while intoxicated against the Terrell City Manager, according to the Terrell Tribune. Gordon Pierce was pulled over along U.S. Highway 80 last Saturday by a DPS trooper. He was later released on $1,500 bond.
Terrell Mayor Frances Anderson said more information is needed before any decisions can be made. Other council members echoed those sentiments and said that more facts in the incident needed to be gathered before any actions are to be taken. The Terrell City Attorney will also be consulted as to city policy on the matter.
