North Texas – Texas entertainer Terry Fator is celebrating today after being named America's new star on Tuesday's America's Got Talent season finale. Fator took his unique singing- ventriloquism act all the way to the top, receiving the most votes from viewers.
Fator beat out 14 year old singer Julienne Irwin, beatbox singer Butterscotch, and Paris musician Cas Haley of the band Woodbelly. Fator, and his dummies, take home the $1 million prize, and the title of America's Got Talent champions. Fator will also be fulfilling a lifelong goal in October: headlining at the Las Vegas Hilton.
Fator is from Dallas. He was in the band TEXAS for 15 years, before deciding to go solo, where he styled his fusion of music and ventriloquism. Terry Fator will bring his show back closer to home in September when he performs in Odessa.
