Hopkins County – Testimony is set to begin Monday in the re-trial of John Arlen Walters, of Pickton.
Walters was sentenced to 32 years in prison following his convicting in 2004. He was said to have killed his brother, Russell Lowell Walters, in the parking lot of the Tabernacle Baptist Church.
That conviction was overturned on appeal, and the case was sent back to Hopkins County.
