Commerce, TX – The Texas A&M University Commerce women's basketball team is in the national preseason rankings. The Lions women are 12th in the USA Today/ESPN Division II Coach's Pre-Season Poll. Last year the Lions reached the NCAA Elite Eight after winning the South Central Regional, the Lone Star Conference Tournament, and the Lone Star Conference North Division title. The women open their season the 17th at Southern Arkansas, with their first home game the 20th against Paul Quinn. KETR will carry Lions women's and men's basketball games this season.
