Commerce – Thursday marks the launch of the latest issue of the Mayo Review, the literary creative arts magazine at Texas A&M University-Commerce. The magazine is designed to showcase creative writing, poetry, prose, non-fiction, drama and art by faculty, students and community members.

In addition to the launch, nationally recognized poet Denise Duhamel will be on campus to present a reading to the public. Following readings by Duhamel will be the official launch of the issue, which also includes readings by some of the authors being published this year. Copies of the magazine will be available to the public. Festivities get underway Thursday at 5 p.m. in the Founders Lounge of the Memorial Student Center on the Texas A&M University-Commerce campus.
