Three killed in Hopkins County wreck

Hopkins County, Delta County – A two vehicle wreck in Hopkins County kills three Sulphur Springs women, and leaves a man seriously injured.

Killed were 26-year-old Terrie J. Paris and 44-year-old Rose Yvonne Sherrin. 20-year-Keisha Nicole McPhearson died shortly after the wreck at Hopkins County Memorial Hospital. 66-year-old Charles Edward Cash, of Klondike, was transported to East Texas Medical Center in Tyler at in serious condition at last report.

The head on collision took place on Highway 19 about eight miles north of Sulphur Springs. Reports indicate Cash was traveling northbound pulling a utility trailer when he swerved across the center line and struck the car carrying the women.
