Wide Receiver Ricky Collins, defensive lineman Charles Tuaau and defensive lineman Ashton Dorsey to participate in the College Gridiron Showcase in Arlington, Texas at the University of Texas at Arlington's Maverick Stadium Saturday, January 31 at 1:30 p.m.

The showcase will allow the Lions to be evaluated by professional league scouts – NFL, CFL and the AFL -- and will receive professional coaching.  The trio will go through a weeks’ worth of practice before playing in Saturday's game.

Tuaau and Dorsey will represent the Lions on the Wranglers roster coached by former Dallas Cowboy tight end and a three-time Pro Bowler Doug Cosbie, while Collins will play on the Desperados roster under former Oklahoma running back Marcus Dupree.

Despite missing a game, Collins caught 64 passes for 1,075 yards and 12 TDs averaging 107.5 yards per game.  His 77-yard touchdown catch and run against Tarleton State in the opening round of the LSC Playoffs was the longest play from scrimmage for the Lions this season.  Collins led the league and is eighth in the NCAA in receiving TDs with 12 en route to being named First Team All-LSC.

Tuaau picked up his second straight Lone Star Conference First Team recognition following a 25 tackle, 8.5 tackles for loss season despite gutting through the season after sustaining a lower leg injury on a chop block in the Eastern New Mexico game.

Dorsey was an honorable mention player in the LSC after finishing with 36 tackles despite only playing in nine games this season.  He finished fourth on the team in tackles for loss with 10 including three sacks.
