Rains County – An elderly Rains County couple is left without a home following a Thursday fire. They two had lived in the house for just over a year.
Fire crews from Emory, Point and Lake Fork responded to the scene, but were unable to arrive in time to save a majority of the structure.
The blaze ignited while the husband was sawing pipes outside the house. The fire then quickly spread inside.
