Tickets on Sale for CISD Hall of Honor Luncheon and Induction

COMMERCE - Three former administrators will be honored for their service to schools and the community on Oct 19.

Buddy Jones, Sue Sheppard and Norris Tanton will be recognized. Tanton, who is deceased, will be represented by his daughter Ruth Cherry. See their biographies here.

Tickets are $15 and are on sale through October 12. The annual Hall of Honor Induction Ceremony began in 2010.

Recently, officials at A&M-Commerce named Dr. John Hanners professor emeritus. And next month, Paris Junior College will honor Ruth Ann Stallings as a distinguished alumna.
