Tornado watch issued until 8 p.m.

By Scott Harvey

Severe weather continues to taunt the Northeast Texas region today, as the National Weather Service in Forth Worth has issued a tornado watch in effect for the area until 8 p.m.

Light to moderate rain has been falling throughout much of the week, with tornados even spotted last night in Montague County in North Texas. No injuries were reported, but golfball-size hail was said to have smashed some windshields. Tornadoes were also reported near Muenster and Nocona in North Texas yesterday.

Severe weather should push its way through the region by tomorrow, although it's still projected to be cloudy and cold.

Keep it tuned to KETR for all weather-related events. Again, a tornado watch is in effect for the region until 8 p.m.
