GREENVILLE - Greenville Police say a Thursday traffic stop in the city resulted in the arrest of two individuals in connection with a burglary that occurred just minutes earlier.

The stop for a traffic violation also led to the execution of a search warrant at a residence on Stanford Street where numerous items related to the burglary were recovered.

Additionally, police say an unrelated drug arrest was made at the location.

The investigation is continuing. The Greenville Police Department says they will be contacting victims of the burglaries within the next few days if items belonging to them are recovered.
