Trail to begin in murder of A&M-Commerce student

Daingerfield – Trial is scheduled to being this week in the case of a Pittsburg man, charged in the murder of a Texas A&M University-Commerce student over Easter weekend.

23-year-old Lester Jackson will appear before a Morris County court on Tuesday. He is alleged to have fatally shot 20-year-old Christopher Rashad Moore. Jackson is also facing three counts of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon.

Moore was shot outside Katdaddy's club near Daingerfield on April 12. The De Soto native was an accounting major at A&M-Commerce.
