Greenville – Trial has begun in a Hunt County capital murder case. Testimony began yesterday in the trial of Ricky Lynn Barnett of Wolfe City, charged with the shooting death of his wife in June with a high powered rifle. Authorities claim he admitted to killing mother of five Cynthia Ann Barnett inside her Cooper home. Barnett is not facing the death penalty.
