Hunt County – Trial begins Wednesday in Hunt County concerning an armed standoff last September.
Jeffery Brian Fagan has pleaded not guilty to aggravated assault with a deadly weapon against a peace officer.
Authorities responded to a suicidal subject in the community of Hawk Cove, where Fagan reportedly fired off several rounds. The standoff lasted several hours but ended without incident.
Jury selection in the case begins Wednesday.
