Trial for man's seventh DWI indictment begins

By Brad Kellar

Greenville – A Greenville man is facing trial on his seventh charge of driving while intoxicated.

47-year-old Jay Mark Housewright entered a not guilty pleaded to one count of felony DWI Thursday.

A tentative trial date was set for March, 2011.

Houswright is alleged to have driven a vehicle this past March while intoxicated.

Records show he's been convicted three previous times for misdemeanor DWI, plus received three other convictions for felony DWI; the latest from 2009 in Hunt County.
