Trial upcoming in two Commerce theft cases

By Brad Kellar

Commerce – A Hunt County woman will face trial next month on felony theft indictments involving the two Commerce Dollar General Stores.

Pamela Florene Timmons is also facing a possible indictment for theft from Brookshire's grocery. Timmons pleaded not guilty Tuesday on the charges and trial was set for Dec. 7.

The indictments are in connection to two shoplifting incidents in February at the Dollar General Stores on Mangum and Live Oak Streets. Timmons was also arrested following a reported shoplifting of a beer in September from Brookshire's where an employee was reportedly injured.
