Hopkins County – Icy roads are believed to have been a factor in a fatality wreck involving a Winnsboro woman Tuesday afternoon.
Authorities say 22-yaer-old Stephanie Greinert was traveling along Highway 11 west of Como when she ran off the road and struck a tree. She was pronounced dead at the scene, near the FM 1567 intersection.
While the direct cause of Greinert's accident was not immediately certain, authorities are urging extreme caution when traveling on potentially icy roads.
