Greenville – Two individuals are arrested following a reported robbery Monday in Greenville.
At approximately 12:30 p.m., officers with the Greenville Police Department responded to a call of a possible robbery in at 6609 Wesley Street. Upon arrival, they discovered a male victim had been assaulted in a parking lot and money had been taken. The victim was transported to the hospital with unknown injuries.
After a witness provided a license plate number for the suspect vehicle, officers located the vehicle at an apartment complex in the 1900 block of Joe Ramsey Blvd. Two suspects in the apartment were then interviewed, which led to the recovery of evidence including property stolen in the offense.
Both suspects were taken into custody, placed in the Hunt County Jail and charged with robbery. The names of the suspects were not released.
