Two more sentenced in body tampering case

By Kevin Jefferies

Hunt County – Two more people have received jail time after pleading guilty to moving the body of a Quinlan area teenager after she died. Daniel Culley and Bradley Starbuck are the 3rd and 4th of five suspects to enter pleas in the case. Raymond Fincher and Kenneth Begarney previously entered guilty pleas to the tampering charges. Steven Matheny is scheduled to enter a plea this week.

The 5 were charged with tampering in connection to the death of 17 year old Sarah Ann Bowles in September of 2003. Bowles had allegedly died from an overdose, and her body was moved and clothes changed before police could respond to a 911 call concerning the death.
