According to the DCSO report those arrested were identified as follows: Roy Edward Battle, felony delivery of controlled substance and misdemeanor delivery of marijuana, Janie Natasha Crist, four counts of felony delivery of a controlled substance and one count of delivery of marijuana; Michael Darrell Johnson, misdemeanor delivery of marijuana; Anthony J. Pease, two counts felony delivery of controlled substance; Andy James Soto, one felony delivery of marijuana and one misdemeanor delivery of marijuana; Kerena Renee Talley, one count of delivery of controlled substance; and Trey Odis Harmon, one count of delivery of a controlled substance.

Two more suspects were identified in the operation and warrants are outstanding on Wyzer Ray Moore, one count Felony delivery of controlled substance; and, Kerry Lee Jones, two counts of felony delivery of a controlled substance.

“This is the first time we have approached an undercover operation through the use of an undercover commissioned officer. We believe the operation was a huge success and a large step in the continuing process to clean up illegal drugs in Delta County,” said Delta County Sheriff Ricky Smith. “We stand by our previous messages of ‘don’t mess with illegal drugs in Delta County, and we will not tolerate drug dealers in our County’.”

“Illegal drugs continue to be a plague not only in Delta County but across the country,” added Chief Charla Singleton. “Illegal drugs and drug use many times lead to other offenses including thefts, burglaries, domestic abuse and prostitution. Our efforts in this operation were focused on the reduction of crime in our county and toward making Delta County a safer place for our citizens to live.”
