University enrollment enters final stretch

By Scott Harvey

Commerce – Enrollment at Texas A&M University-Commerce continues to show promise with a pace still ahead of last year's.

According to Vice-President for Student Access and Success Dr. Mary Hendrix, enrollment had reached 10,246 on Sunday night. In fact, the 10,000 mark was reached a week ahead of when the milestone was reached last year.

A&M-Commerce, upon recording their highest enrollment in school history in fall 2010, set a goal of 11,000 students for this fall.
