HOPKINS COUNTY - Authorities say the body of a Dallas woman, missing for more than a day, was found Wednesday afternoon in a pond in the Arbala community.
Hopkins County Chief Deputy Ricky Morgan said there was absolutely no indication of foul play.
The Hopkins County Sheriff’s Office and Department of Public Safety had been searching since Tuesday afternoon, postponed the search due to darkness and then resumed Wednesday before locating the body.
The identity of the 44-year-old woman has not been released. She was said to be visiting family when she walked away from their residence.
