UPDATE: victim count rises, Suspect in custody
UPDATE: 10:20 - The man being sought in Terrell Monday night has been arrested, but not before two more people were added to his victims list.
Charles Everett Brownlow Jr. is the main suspect in a killing spree that occurred late afternoon Monday and into Monday night. Four people were murdered in residences around the same neighborhood, two of the victims being his mother and aunt. One other person was shot and killed at a convenience store located near the other crime scenes. Our previous report stated that three people were murdered. According to WFAA-TV, two more people were found shot and killed in the residence on Eulalia Drive in Terrell late last night.
Brownlow was arrested following a car chase that ended after Brownlow wrecked is car, fled into nearby woods, and was spotted by a police helicopter hiding in a creekbed.
Terrell Police consider Charles Brownlow, 36, of Terrell, as the main suspect in the case, and is considered armed and dangerous.
Earlier Monday, three people were murdered in the same neighborhood. KDFW FOX 4 says one body was found at a scene of an arson fire in the 300 block of Stalling Street. Two other bodies were found at a residence on Moore St. and at a residence on Tyler St. The details on these two deaths have not yet been released.
Residents who live in this area told WFAA-TV that they believe the victims are connected through family members.
Terrell Police have yet to release how Brownlow is involved in the murders. Multiple social media posts by residents in the area believe that he is related to the victims, but this information has yet to be confirmed by police.
Brownlow has a had past arrests, one as recent as August for theft of property with a value lest than $1,500.
Charles Brownlow is 6' 2'', and weighs approximately 245 lbs. If you see Brownlow, call police immediately. He is considered armed and dangerous.
