– A false statement to the Federal Aviation Administration lands a Wills Point man behind bars.
Darrell Glenn Reynolds pleaded guilty to the charge last summer for lying about the air worthiness of an aircraft. He's to serve five months in federal prison and was also fined $10,000.
Reynolds had incorporated and ran a non-profit organization, the Texas Fire Birds Volunteer Fire Department in Van Zandt County, which was used to provide aerial firefighting support.
