Vandalism Spree Damages Dozens of Cars

Dozens of vehicles are reportedly damaged in a vandalism spree in Greenville this week.

Three people were arrested late Tuesday night and charged with felony criminal mischief and/or engaging in organized criminal activity in connection with a reported vandalism spree during which dozens of vehicles were damaged.

Austin Stanphill and Colton D. Miller, both of Greenville, were reported in custody at the Hunt County Jail Wednesday morning, each being held in lieu of $25,000 bond on the charges. The name of a third defendant, an 18-year-old male from Wolfe City, was not released as the individual had not been arraigned as of Wednesday evening.

According to a report from the Greenville Police Department, a resident in the 600 block of Center Point Lane indicated that someone had shot the glass out of her vehicle. As of Wednesday evening there were more than 60 reports of vehicles having been damaged.
