Sulphur Springs – Veterans of Foreign Wars members will utilize the social hall for activities, following a fire that destroyed the canteen area of the Sulphur Springs post.
The social hall sustained what is believed to be smoke damage. Insurance investigators will now determine when rehabilitation work can begin on that part of the building.
The cause of the fire is still unclear, but officials believe it may have started in the ceiling area of the women's bathroom.
