Video: Greenville Halloween Ghost Tour Preview

GREENVILLE - Just a handful of spots remain for a ghost tour and séance Halloween weekend surrounding Greenville’s biggest conspiracy, a more than century-old triple drowning.

On June 16, 1897, Greenville's first millionaire Tom King, along with a woman believed to be his mistress, a bank associate and another single woman all went for a midnight swim at one of King's properties. Only the bank associate came out alive.

On Oct. 27, trance medium Dwanna Paul hosts the inaugural Greenville Halloween Weekend Ghost Tour, which includes visits to East Mount Cemetery and King’s Victorian home. The tour concludes with a séance, or a meeting of people to receive spiritualistic messages, at the Blue Armadillo Winery - once the site of King's own bank).

Greenville Chamber of Commerce Tourism Director Milton Babb says interested persons can also participate in one of three additional ghost walks Oct. 29 – Oct. 31.
