Paris – The runoff election between incumbent Rhonda Rogers and challenger Dr. A.J. Hashmi for Paris City Council District 7 is Saturday.
Last month, none of the then three candidates, which also included Ken Kohls, were able to obtain at least 50 percent of the vote. Kohls has endorsed Dr. Hashmi over Rogers. The two men received almost 65 percent of the May vote.
Polls on Saturday will be open from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. at Ramseur Baptist Church at 3400 Lamar Avenue.
