Warrant issued for New Year's Day shooting suspect

Greenville – New arrest warrants have been issued for a Garland man, accused of shooting and wounding two people in Commerce on New Year's Day.

The warrants were ordered after Carlos Anthony Marr failed to appear in court Wednesday on his arraignment charges. He's been charged with two counts of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon causing bodily injury.

Commerce Police say the gunfire erupted at The Lodge Dance Hall on Live Oak Street. Two people were injured in the incident.

Marr's bond was also reset to $10,000 cash only on each indictment whenever he's arrested.
