Water district lifts watering restrictions

– The North Texas Municipal Water District (NTMWD) has lifted watering restrictions for area residents.

Weeks of heavy rains which helped filled lakes across the region have allowed citizens in Royse City, Cash and Farmersville to once again water their lawns.

According to the Greenville Herald-Banner, the move affects more than 1.6 million north Texas residents, including those served by the Caddo Basin Special Utility District and the Cash Water Supply Corporation in Hunt County.
