HOPKINS COUNTY - No one was injured in an early morning fire near Pickton that took firefighters roughly 2 ½ hours to fully contain.
The house along Hopkins CR 2399 was completely destroyed, according to authorities. A witness reported the blaze at around 3:30 a.m., and when firefighters arrived on the scene the house was fully engulfed in flames.
A neighbor is said to have rescued some pets from the burning home.
A cause was not immediately clear.
