Wildfires in Southeast Texas Marshland

There are wildfires burning in parts of the Southeast Texas marshland.

 According to Rod Carroll, a Jefferson County Sheriff’s Deputy, firefighters responded to about half a dozen fires yesterday. Some fires were still burning last night due to bone-dry vegetation and areas being blocked off from fire trucks by too much mud.
