Darrell Williams is among the Lone Star Conference's top players in the 2014-15 season.

A&M-Commerce senior forward Darrell Williams picked up his second Lone Star Conference Offensive Player of the Week honors after averaging 25 points per game and 17 rebounds per game in a pair of Lion weeks last week.

Williams, a Chicago, Ill., native notched back-to-back 20 point scoring games with 24 points and 26 points in a pair of Lion wins during the week.  The senior paced the A&M-Commerce with 24 points and a staggering 21 rebounds in a 91-61 win over Arlington Baptist.

Williams, who entered the contest as one of eight players in Division II with a 20 rebound game became the second player to record 20 or more rebounds twice during the 2014-15 season.  He followed up his Arlington Baptist performance by notching 26 points and 13 rebounds in an 87-71 win over Texas A&M-Kingsville for the Lions first LSC win of the season.  Williams carried the Lions in the first half with 17 points.  He leads the league in rebounding and ranks second in scoring and is the only player in the LSC averaging a double-double.
