– A tragic accident has claimed the life of a four-year-old Wolfe City girl.
Destiny Scherie Dodd was said to be riding in a vehicle Friday morning along FM 816 when it struck a horse.
According to the Department of Public Safety, Dodd was transported to Hunt Regional Medical Center in Greenville where she was later pronounced dead.
There were no reports of any other injuries.
Funeral services are scheduled Tuesday afternoon at Coker-Matthews Funeral Home in Greenville.
