Paris, Texas – The burned body of a woman was found after a mobile home fire in Paris Saturday. The cause of the fire in the 800 block of North Ninth Street is still under investigation.
Officials received reports of the fire around 1am Saturday morning. When firefighters arrived, half of the mobile home had been consumed in flame. Eventually, the fire was knocked down enough for emergency workers to enter the home and begin a search for possible victims inside. Investigators believe at least two people lived at the residence.
The name of the woman killed in the blaze is being withheld pending family notifications.
