Greenville – A Greenville woman has turned herself into police following a reported murder attempt.
Lola Danielle Cherry surrendered to authorities Tuesday and at last report remained in the Hunt County Jail.
The incident in question dates back to October 31, 2009, when police were called to a report of a newborn choking and not breathing in the 2600 block of Jones Street. The child was taken to the hospital.
An investigation led to an arrest warrant being issued for Cherry late last month.
