– The Hunt County Sheriff's Office is investigating the death of a 37-year-old woman, whose body was found in the middle of Highway 50 near Campbell late Saturday.
The woman's name has not been released, pending notification of the victim's family.
The Greenville Herald Banner is reporting a white male approached deputies after their arrival and informed them the woman was his girlfriend and that the death was a suicide. She had reportedly jumped from his vehicle.
The cause of death, however, had not been determined. An autopsy has been ordered through the Dallas Medical Examiner's office.
