Worker killed in fire at trailer manufacturer near Paris

A worker was killed in a fire on Aug. 13 at a trailer manufacturing facility in Lamar County, according to a report by Sherman-based KXII-TV.

The fire started around 11:30 a.m. at PJ Trailers, located northwest of Paris, the report said. Crews from Lamar County, Honey Grove and Delta County were able to extinguish the fire around 1:30 p.m., according to KXII. Lamar County Sheriff's Office is investigating the  cause of the fire, the report said.

The identity of the employee killed has not been released. No other injuries have been reported. PJ Trailers employs over 100 people and was founded in 1991.
