Delta County – A woman is being questioned by Delta County authorities after she was found hiding in a ditch near the scene of a motor vehicle wreck early Wednesday morning.
Hopkins County deputies were first dispatched to the scene at around 12:40 a.m. near the intersection of FM 71 West and CR 2285 to find a vehicle fully engulfed in flames. The woman, who was believed to have been driving the vehicle, was found about a mile from the wreck.
Further investigation revealed that she was wanted for questioning about a stabbing in Delta County. Her name was not released.
