Yantis man gets year in prison, fine for theft

By Brad Kellar

Greenville – A Wood County man has pleaded guilty to burglarizing properties belonging to the U.S. Marshall's Service.

Jason Dwayne Hall, of Yantis, entered the plea Wednesday and was ordered to one year in jail and to pay a $500 fine.

Hall was one of two people alleged to have broken into the building in the 1900 block of Interstate 30 in Greenville back in January. He and his alleged co-actor, Justin Michael Twardzik, also of Yantis, reportedly stole electrical wiring from the structure. They were each arrested the same day.

Twardzik is scheduled for trial on June 20.
